蛇腹に穴

一年ほど前に中古で購入した長岡製作所の木製フィールドカメラWoody４５の蛇腹に数箇所穴が開いているのを見つけたのが今週の水曜日。
その翌日の木曜日の午前中に長岡さんに蛇腹の張替えをお願いして、その翌日の昨日の夕方には作業が終わって引き取りに行ってきた。
スゲェー速い作業に感謝！

持ち込んだカメラを見て長岡のオヤっさんが
「このカメラは２０年くらい前に作ったやつで、出来が良いんだ。金属のプレートやギヤの一つ一つを職人がヤスリで削って作ったんだよ。今はもう職人が居ないから同じものは作れないね」と教えてくれた。

自分が持っているカメラのことをよく知らなかった。
これからも大切に使わないとね。

それから最近の大判事情を少々話し込み、
最近は１１ｘ１４の注文が増えていると話題になる。
たまたま納品予定の品が上がっているといって見せてくれたが、デカイ。
でも不思議な魅力を感じてしまった・・・

I bought a wooden 4×5 field-camera of Nagaoka factory before about a year. I found a hole in a bellows of it this Wednesday.
I asked Mr. Nagaoka to repair it Thursday, then yesterday  my camera had been repaired and I got it.
It is very fast!
Thank you, Mr Nagaoka!

Mr Nagaoka saw my camera and said.
“This was made at about 20 years ago, this is good. This camera’s metal parts was made by a true artisan. Now there is not a true artisan.”

I did not know about my camera well.
I would like to use it carefully.

I told with him about large format camera.
Recently he received orders increase  for 11×14  format camera.

He showed me 11×14 camera which he made.
It was huge!
But I was fascinated by it.
